MEDIADEM workshop on ‘Media policies & regulation for media freedom & independence’ in the news: Spain

Universia, a webpage on news about university issues in Spain, reported on the workshop on ‘Media policies & regulation for media freedom & independence’, which was held on 30 June 2011 in Athens. The article ‘La UCLM presenta en Atenas una ponencia sobre autorregulación de los medios de comunicación’ (The UCLM presents a paper on media self-regulation in Athens), published on 18 July 2011, provided a description of the MEDIADEM project and its aims. It then focused on the presentation of Susana de la Sierra, Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in the workshop which was about recent developments regarding practices of journalists’ self-regulation in the print and audiovisual media in Spain.
